For your viewing pleasure, here is my sweaty self after my 6 miler yesterday afternoon. It was really warm here, probably in the upper 70s and it was my first really sweaty run of the year. I don't know about ya'll but I really get a sick sense of pleasure from being really sweaty after running, like I really accomplished something. I like being able to see white salt crystals on my arms after I cool off. I like to be able to wring out my ponytail. I like to see that big wet semi-circle on my sports bra. Am I the only demented one who feels this way? Happy Friday, and Happy First Day of Spring!!

Photo Friday/Sweaty Runs
For your viewing pleasure, here is my sweaty self after my 6 miler yesterday afternoon. It was really warm here, probably in the upper 70s and it was my first really sweaty run of the year. I don't know about ya'll but I really get a sick sense of pleasure from being really sweaty after running, like I really accomplished something. I like being sweaty for awhile, but not as much as I like showering away all that sweaty crust afterwards!

i like seeing the salt form too. it's only happened once, though. and it was a nice day yesterday.
btw, I got in a great 10 mile run while on james island last saturday. it was great.
Nope, I totally feel that way too! And I can't wait to be running in tank tops and shades again... won't be for a couple more months around here.

Really sweating as the weather gets warmer makes me feel like I'm getting clean inside, you know?
mmm i love being sweaty after a run. i agree, it makes me feel like i actually did something! not so sure about the wringing out your hair part though... ;)
I am the exact same way! And I sweat A TON! I like to exercise outside because the breeze keeps me cooler. And I love the after exercise shower :)
HAHAHHAA No I don't think it's demented. I totally get a kick out of wearing running skirts so the people behind me can see my cellulite jiggle. How's that for weirdo-ness LOL
The salt crystals are my favorite part, too :)

Haha I'm the same way with the salt crystals. After my 10-miler a few weeks ago I showed the BF and he was like Ummm you're gross lol!
Oh goodness, you're not. I also have a really sick sense of satisfaction over how hot and sweaty I am after a good run.
Being all sweaty after a run makes me happy. In the summer I drip because of the heat and humidity. There is something about it.

Oh yeah me too! I LOVE to be sweaty and hot after a run...I kinda despise running in cold weather.

Oh...and my bread...turned out like crap. I think my yeast maybe died? That's what I'll blame it on!
But the dog seemed to have liked it, she was able to get up on the counter and eat some of it.
