3 Things Thursday

So I love that Shannon and Brandi do a "Three Things Thursday" so I'm going to give it a shot myself.

1. Working out has been going great this week. Tuesday we ran 3 miles, Wednesday I went to the gym and did 30 min on the elliptical and 15 on the bike. Today I just walked the dogs 2 miles.

2. I'm now 14 and a half weeks pregnant! I still have a long way to go but it's going by quickly and I know the next 6 months will probably fly by.

3. I am way behind on Christmas shopping. I have some ideas of gifts but have not actually purchased but maybe one or two. Also, I'm going to be a scrooge and not decorate this year. I just can't stand the thought of unboxing all those decorations. Terrible I know, but I also know that after this little one is hear we will be in full-on holiday mode every Christmas from here til the end of time so I'm not going to feel bad about slacking on it this year.

you know i was just thinking about that today - i lived in a hotel for 9 months and it was a looong 9 months. i was thinking "how do mom's deal with those 9 months of being pregnant?" i don't think i'll be able to do it :)

i haven't started shopping yet either and of course i'm not home to put up decorations (and i'm not about to buy decorations for my 2nd home aka the apartment) -- so don't feel bad!

Shopping? hahahahaha...

And Hannukah starts next week (we do both holidays).

I'm soooooo not ready yet!

Don't worry about under-doing it this year. You're right, you've got loads of full-fledged holiday cycles in front of you.

14-1/2 weeks - wow, time seems to be flying! Easy for me to say, right? :)

Nice job on the workouts!

Brent's being a bit of a Scrooge this year, too. We decided not to get a tree since we'll be gone for the holidays, but when I suggested that we put up all the other decorations, he said that as the "christmas expert" in the family (I'm a Chanukah-ite), it's just not right to do lights without a tree.

Sheesh, who knew there were so many rules?

20 weeks is the official halfway point. you'll be amazed how quick it sneaks up on you. heck, you'll be amazed how fast the kid's 2nd birthday sneaks up on you.

have a great weekend amanda!

Thanks for the shout out! I seriously don't think we'll be decorating all that much around here either. I just don't feel like it this year. Sad, I know!
