This morning was our local Race for the Cure 5K and since Rich and I are both off work today we jumped at the chance to run this race. It is pretty cool out today, probably around 50 at the start, which was great for running. My stomach was feeling a little iffy so I took it easy and had a nice slow 3.1 with a time around 32:15 and Rich went ahead of me and finished in 27:16, which was not a PR for either of us. It was our first race in 2 months, and it felt fabulous to be out running, and for such a good cause. Thankfully nobody that I'm close to has had breast cancer, and I'm always so touched at all the survivors at the race and at all the runners wearing bibs "in memory of _____" or "in celebration of _____." It really makes you thankful for your health, and grateful to be able to do such a small thing to help raise money for research.

The pajamas are definitely the best part.
I love your PJs.
I SO miss running 5Ks like that just for fun, not caring about the time (I don't mean that in a mean way). And the people you meet/see at those races (for causes) always have amazing stories.
GO PJ's!! Nice to get a great little 5k in.
Yay beer and PJ's!
We took some of the same beer camping and it's pretty darn fantastic. Whole Foods had it on sale super cheap!
Drinking beer in my PJs is my favorite thing to do! WTG on the 5K
Nothing like running for a good cause and following it up with a cold one!
r4tc, beer and pj's - definitely a good way to spend the weekend :)
hope your stomach is feeling better!
yum the beer looks tasty and is definitely best when consumed in pjs. :)
Sadly, you'll be saying goodbye to beer for a little while.
I could totally give up alcohol but man I really don't want to give up coffee!!!!!!
