This Week

It looks like P90X and running will be on the back burner this week. We have had a death in the family and will be traveling to Arkansas for the funeral. I'm still going to shoot for 4 runs this week, but don't hold me to it. We're leaving tomorrow after work, then flying back to Charleston late Thursday night. Just take a minute today to tell the people close to you what they mean to you, you never know when you won't have the chance.

On a lighter note...
Emmy, the foster dog, is still with us for now although the wonderful ladies that are in charge of everything in the rescue are trying to move her for us. It's not that I don't love her because I certainly do, it's just that we are not the best place for her with our cats/yard/neighbors and we have so much else going on right now that we're going to have to stop fostering for a while. She was originally supposed to be a temporary foster, but has now been with us for 5 months. Check out her blog for some cute pics I added yesterday.

sorry to hear about the unfortunate death. My grandmother just went into the hospital yesterday with a broken hip.

Sorry to hear about the death, I hope everyone is doing ok.

As for the peanut butter comment you left...I haven't seen it in stores, only on line. I definitely think it's worth the on line purchase!

I wish I could take your foster dog! Too bad we have no room.

So sorry for your loss.

On the lighter side..emmy is adorable! If we were closer and had a yard, we'd take her...she and Zoey would probably have a field day.

I'm sorry for your loss. *hugs*

My boss has been dealing with some family issues (cancer, I think) and has been so lenient with us, telling us not to sweat the small stuff... it's refreshing. Sorry if that seems kind of unrelated. Your post just made me think of it.

Sorry for your loss.
I hope Emmy finds a home soon. Doug sends me links to rescue boxers almost every day and so far, I've been able to keep him at bay. Mols is just so good and adding another one is a lot of work.
Congrats on your new 5K PR! That's awesome!
